New Toys
Addicted to this new laptop. I was in bed reading and watching Letterman. Decided I needed some hot tea (it's gotten chilly again here) and on my way to heating up the water I pass the laptop recharging on the kitchen table. What do I do? I stop and sit down and turn it on. Have to play with my new typewriter.....

I was the same way about my new cell phone. It has one of those flip out full keyboards so suddenly I was sending text messages to everyone. Still am.
New computers are always fun.
If you have an old computer that doesn't work, you could try loading ubuntu operating system on it and perhaps it might spring into life again.
Ubuntu is free, as in open source, and can be downloaded (free) from ubuntu.com
Good luck with your nice shiny new computer and with the wonderful stories it will help you write :-)
