Well, the laptop (Certified Pre-Owned, diagnostically tested, etc) died within a week. I've fooled with it for another week. Then scared myself because then the desktop decided to take a dive. Got the desktop back up (Phew! Thanks to a neighbor with start up disks, etc. ) and I sent a firm note to the company saying they needed to do something real now (they'd already sent me to Apple Support where I tried everything they told me to try to no avail). So, I've put away the new toy and am playing again with the old desktop, but here's the good news.....
Pen Noir liked one of my stories and three of my poems well enough to put them on their site for the month of March! YAY!!!! The poems are called "Lost Shoe Fugue," "Post(post) Modern Creations," and "For Emily." The short story (a little less than 8000 words) is called "Needs Must When the Devil Drives." (The title is a saying from the Middle Ages.) You can find them all
here. They will be there for the next 30 days or so. Hope you get a chance to drop by and read them. More than that, I hope you enjoy them.
Thanks.
